The Allen Public Library strives to meet the informational needs of the community . To accomplish this we will:

bulletProvide high interest materials, both contemporary and traditional, as well as appropriate for all ages
bulletrespond to the community needs for library services and programs with emphasis on ages kindergarten through 12th grade
bulletensure a trained courteous staff in a welcoming environment
bulletserve as an access point to supplemental information
bulletactively promote and encourage the use of the library
bulletsupport life-long learning and the enrichment of leisure time
